I am a Romanian illustrator currently based in the UK.

I studied Illustration at the Arts University Bournemouth where I developed my interest in picture book illustration.

I love using  paint, ink, pencils, collage and other analogue materials to create engaging stories aimed at children while also playing with exaggerating shapes and creating interesting textures. My work explores areas such as folklore, fantasy and natural landscapes. I find inspiration in so many places from spending time in nature and visiting museums to discovering vintage trinkets in charity shops and markets.

I love writing and illustrating stories that help readers develop a greater appreciation for the natural world while also often adding a fantastical twist. 

I have a diverse practice and enjoy experimenting with new materials and techniques to produce fun results!
